​My name is Rosina Ghebreyesus, I am a costume designer and stylist. The more I learn about the two roles and the industries they serve, the more I fall in love with the designs of those that came before. Those designs turn a light on and push me to learn everything I can about my position, the history of garments, the making process, the designers, and the stories we all tell.

Using my talents and knowledge to serve a film or photoshoot has been my greatest pleasure. The design process is my favorite, understanding who a character is and imagining what we can make for them in the context of their lives is thrilling. Then adding personal layers, personal styling, new ways of wearing garments to that mix and the love of the process grows. My only wish is that I get to spend another 50 years, researching, designing and being inspired by the world and then giving that back to it.

Carter, Patricia Field, Miuccia Prada, Glenn Martens and John Galliano.
